Blogging for Educators

Here is an interesting blog post on the importance of blogging as an instructional tool.  The author feels that students should be introduced to blogging early as an authentic form of writing instruction, and that teachers should model responsible blogging by sharing information with colleagues.  When I first read it, I felt validated by his comments, then I got to this great line:
"We have to remember that any idiot can write a blog and most do."
